BOOM tHE ITEM FOR THE IPOD CLASSIC HAS AN IPOD DOCK CONNECTOR AT THE USE END. THIS ITEM WILL NOT WORK WITH THE IPOD CLASSIC IT'S NEVER GOING TO WORK WITH THE IPOD CLASSIC. THIS NEEDS TO BE STATED CLEARLY IN THE TITLE, INSTEAD THE SELLERS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'ER SELLING MAKE NO REAL ATTEMPT TO DO THIS, I'M RETURNING IT.
This works quite well. Otherwise, it's performed flawlessly.
It's attractive. Build seems to be of good quality.
Got this for our 30 GB iPod Video. Once, I had to jiggle the connection to the iPod to clear up some streaks on the video (seen on a TV).
For those that don't know, just go to video settings on your iPod video and set the iPod to ask about the TV-out settings when starting a video. I also considered the $49 cable from Apple which plugs into the iPod connector port.
The price was right for something that's not compatible with the iPod Touch (as far as I know).
idiot. it is not bad quality @ll. my friend just got the same thing for 50$ from apple. and it is better than getting one that plugs into the bottom of your ipod because through the headphone jack you can still charge your ipod at the same time.
i wanted to see a review like this one before buying this but i didnt so i made a point to make one after i bought it. ya soo it works. hah. i thought it was too good to be true or that it wouldnt work and.
it was totally worth it. i have the old 30gb black ipod video. IT WORKED. it plays videos and pictures on your tv.
Apple charges an arm and a leg for this stuff. This cable is exactly as described, works well, and is cheap.
Knew it was too good to be true. Does not work with 5th gen iPOD. I recommend a cable that connects to the pin connector at the bottom of most classic/nano ipods, THAT DOES WORK. Haven't found one iPOD 3G, 4G, 5G classic or nano (family has a wide variety) that this works with. TV out does not recognize the 3.5mm jack connection. Sorry, folks.
